The Woodland Scenics Town & Factory Building Set (item S1485) is an N scale collection of 13 individual, architecturally detailed building kits for building out a city scene on a layout.
What's in the box:
- 13 N scale building kits
- More than 70 detailed accessories
- 60 dry transfer decals
- Detailed plans and instructions
Woodland Scenics designed the set to complement its Scenic Ridge Layout Kit, but it works on any layout. Buying the set is positioned as a savings over purchasing the buildings separately.
These are kits, so assembly is required. Follow the included plans and instructions, and expect a fair amount of bench time to complete all 13 structures.

Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on anything sold by TinkerTown. The item needs to be in the same condition you received it, unused, with tags and original packaging, and you'll need proof of purchase.

Sale items and gift cards are final sale. Custom, perishable and personal care goods, along with hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases, can't be returned.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Affiliate items
Items marked Sold by Affiliate are not shipped or fulfilled by TinkerTown. Those orders are placed with Amazon or eBay, and shipping, returns and support follow that retailer's own policies. TinkerTown earns a commission on those purchases at no extra cost to you.
Damages and issues
Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us right away if anything is defective, damaged or wrong, so we can make it right.
Orders shipped into the European Union may be cancelled or returned within 14 days for any reason, under the same condition requirements above.
FAQs
Is this a real store or just a collection of affiliate links?
Both. Items marked “Sold by TinkerTown” are sold by us and shipped from our US supplier partners. Items marked “Sold by Affiliate” link out to Amazon or eBay — if you buy there, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
How do you decide what to feature?
Each pick is chosen on specs, build reputation, and price. Anything we have personally built carries a Tested badge; everything else is clearly labeled as not yet tested. The misses go in The Duds.
Do you offer customer support?
Yes — for anything sold by TinkerTown you'll get a reply from a real person at questions@shoptinkertown.com. For affiliate items, support and returns go through the retailer you bought from.
Can I suggest a product or tool?
Absolutely. Got something you swear by (or swore at)? Send it through the Contact page. If it's a good fit, we may add it — credit included.
Are your reviews paid or sponsored?
No. No brand pays for placement or opinions. Items we have personally built are marked Tested; everything else is clearly labeled as not yet tested.
