This 1/12 scale plastic model kit reproduces the Honda CX500 Turbo with a detailed turbocharged V-twin engine, capturing the added plumbing and hardware that set the turbo variant apart from a standard CX500. Paint and cement are required to complete the build (not included).
The Honda CX500 Turbo, released in 1981, is widely credited as the first mass-produced turbocharged motorcycle. It paired a turbocharger with electronic fuel injection at a time when both technologies were rare on production motorcycles, resulting in significantly more power than the naturally aspirated CX500 it was based on. The added complexity and cost made it a commercial rarity, and Honda, along with rivals Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha, abandoned motorcycle turbocharging within a few years as forced induction gave way to larger-displacement naturally aspirated engines.

You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. We currently ship to US addresses only.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on anything sold by TinkerTown. The item needs to be in the same condition you received it, unused, with tags and original packaging, and you'll need proof of purchase.
To start a return, email questions@shoptinkertown.com. Once the return is approved we'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. There is no restocking fee. Items sent back without requesting a return first can't be accepted.
Sale items and gift cards are final sale. Custom, perishable and personal care goods, along with hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases, can't be returned.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Affiliate items
Items marked Sold by Affiliate are not shipped or fulfilled by TinkerTown. Those orders are placed with Amazon or eBay, and shipping, returns and support follow that retailer's own policies. TinkerTown earns a commission on those purchases at no extra cost to you.
Damages and issues
Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us right away if anything is defective, damaged or wrong, so we can make it right.
Orders shipped into the European Union may be cancelled or returned within 14 days for any reason, under the same condition requirements above.

Is this a real store or just a collection of affiliate links?
