The Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär (Mid Version) was a German self-propelled assault gun used during the latter part of World War II. It was developed as a heavily armored vehicle with the main task of providing close support for infantry assaults, particularly in urban combat and entrenched positions. Equipped with a massive 150mm StuH 43 L/12 gun, the Brummbär was designed to deliver devastating firepower against enemy fortifications, tanks, and infantry. It was first introduced in 1943 and became a key part of the German Army's strategy during the war's later stages.
The Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär saw significant action during the campaigns in Normandy, the Battle of Kursk, and the defense of the Reich in 1944 and 1945. The Brummbär's powerful gun and thick armor made it a formidable force on the battlefield, able to take on heavily fortified positions and deliver devastating bombardments. However, it was not without its drawbacks. The vehicle was slow, prone to mechanical failures, and had limited mobility compared to other armored vehicles, which made it vulnerable to more agile and well-coordinated attacks from the Allies.
Despite these challenges, the Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär played a crucial role in the final stages of the war, particularly in defensive operations on the Eastern and Western Fronts. It was used extensively during the Battle of the Bulge and in the defense of Berlin, where it helped to stall advancing Allied forces. While it was eventually phased out in favor of newer, more mobile designs, the Brummbär left a lasting legacy as one of the more distinctive and powerful assault vehicles used by the German Army in the final years of the war.

Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on anything sold by TinkerTown. The item needs to be in the same condition you received it, unused, with tags and original packaging, and you'll need proof of purchase.
To start a return, email questions@shoptinkertown.com. Once the return is approved we'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. There is no restocking fee. Items sent back without requesting a return first can't be accepted.
Sale items and gift cards are final sale. Custom, perishable and personal care goods, along with hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases, can't be returned.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
