Developed by Willys-Overland and Ford in response to a 1940 U.S. Army specification, the light four-wheel-drive vehicle that became known as the Jeep was prized for its rugged simplicity and off-road capability. More than 640,000 Willys MB and Ford GPW Jeeps were built to a standardized design for Allied forces between 1941 and 1945. The design's wartime reputation carried directly into the postwar civilian Jeep, and its influence can be traced through the entire modern SUV category.

Processing time is 1-3 business days. Most items arrive within 7-15 business days. Some items ship directly from our supplier partners and can take up to 3 weeks — when that's the case, it's noted on the product page.
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. We currently ship to US addresses only.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on anything sold by TinkerTown. The item needs to be in the same condition you received it, unused, with tags and original packaging, and you'll need proof of purchase.
To start a return, email questions@shoptinkertown.com. Once the return is approved we'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. There is no restocking fee. Items sent back without requesting a return first can't be accepted.
Sale items and gift cards are final sale. Custom, perishable and personal care goods, along with hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases, can't be returned.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it.
Affiliate items
Items marked Sold by Affiliate are not shipped or fulfilled by TinkerTown. Those orders are placed with Amazon or eBay, and shipping, returns and support follow that retailer's own policies. TinkerTown earns a commission on those purchases at no extra cost to you.
Damages and issues
Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us right away if anything is defective, damaged or wrong, so we can make it right.
Orders shipped into the European Union may be cancelled or returned within 14 days for any reason, under the same condition requirements above.

Is this a real store or just a collection of affiliate links?
It’s both. TinkerTown features gear I actually use, love, and sometimes sell. Some links are affiliate links — if you click them, I might earn a few pennies. It helps me buy more stuff to break.
