Model Kit Subaru Impreza "W...

This 1/24 scale plastic model kit from Tamiya captures the works-liveried Subaru Impreza WRC as raced in the 2001 World Rally Championship season, molded primarily in blue styrene with chrome-plated small parts, a mesh insert for the air inlet grille, and realistic rubber-like tires. The kit includes pre-painted gold wheels, clear red and orange lenses for the brake and turn signal lights, and decals for three real drivers from that era — Richard Burns, Petter Solberg, and Markko Martin — along with detailed roll-cage and cockpit parts; paint and cement are required but not included.

The Subaru Impreza WRC was the backbone of the factory Subaru World Rally Team's rally program through the 1990s and 2000s, powered by a turbocharged flat-four "boxer" engine paired with Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. Driving the Impreza WRC2001, Richard Burns won the 2001 FIA World Rally Championship drivers' title in one of the closest-fought seasons in WRC history, edging out Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz. The car's blue-and-gold livery, inherited from title sponsor 555, remains one of rallying's most iconic looks.

FAQs

Is this a real store or just a collection of affiliate links?

It’s both. TinkerTown features gear I actually use, love, and sometimes sell. Some links are affiliate links — if you click them, I might earn a few pennies. It helps me buy more stuff to break.

Easy. I tinker with it. If it survives my abuse, earns its keep, or solves a real problem — it goes on the site. If not, it goes in The Duds (yes, that’s a thing).

If it’s for something I sell directly — yes, you’ll get a real reply from a real human (me or someone I trust). If it’s an affiliate product, you’ll need to deal with the store you bought it from. I just point to the good stuff.

Absolutely! Got something you swear by (or swore at)? Hit the Contact page and share it. If I like it, I might test it and add it — credit included (unless it explodes).

Nope. No brand pays me to say nice things. Everything you see is tested and written with full creative freedom — including my right to roast terrible tools.
