Four-stroke radials use an odd number of cylinders per row so the firing order stays even; a five-cylinder engine fires 1, 3, 5, 2, 4. Radials powered aircraft from the Spirit of St. Louis (Wright Whirlwind) to the Corsair, Hellcat and Thunderbolt (Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp).

What to know

About 4 hours to assemble; ages 12+

Tools are included

Made to order: ships from our specialty supplier in about 2-3 weeks.
